Just a 20-minute drive from Adelaide can transport you to the Adelaide Hills Wine Region, offering the rare combination of proximity to a capital city with the feel of being a world away.
Touching the Barossa Valley to the north and McLaren Vale to the south, the region can be accessed from many directions (see Adelaide Hills map for more details Adelaide Hills Wine Region Map). Road access from the city centre is via the six-lane South Eastern Freeway, which links Adelaide to Melbourne.
