Hahndorf Hill Winery

Situated as we are at the edge of historic Hahndorf village - Australia's oldest-surviving German settlement - it's not surprising that Germanic/ Austrian grape varieties take centre-stage in our vineyard. For the past decade we have been on a journey to pioneer Austria's food-friendly grape varieties within Australia, and today we grow an exciting range of these from Gruner Veltliner, Blaufrankisch, Zweigelt and Saint Laurent through to Trollinger. We also produce the classic Australian cool-climate varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio and Shiraz.
