Silver Lining
After running my family’s estate ‘The Lane Vineyard’ in the Adelaide Hills for nearly 20 years; in 2019 I left to start my own Hills brand – Silver Lining Wine. Proceeds raised from sales are directed to fund research into Parkinson’s disease in Australia.
Marty was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2012, fortunately, in 2018 he underwent a deep brain stimulation operation after which, he had three months of doing... nothing, as he calls it. The operation was life-changing and the down-time gave Marty the inspiration to launch Silver Lining Wines so as to raise money to donate to Parkinson’s Research in South Australia.
