It is Porchetta & Pinot time again at Golding Wines!

Join us this June long weekend for delicious juicy porchetta, live tunes, outdoor games and great wines.

The vibes will be set to CHILL, so come join us by a brazier or in the barn and enjoy the best of a winter long weekend in the Hills.

On the day we will have full bar service for extra beverage purchases. Tea, coffee and dessert will also be available for purchase on the day. Lawn games will be available to play, weather permitting. If the weather is fine and the temperature is forecast for 16 degrees or above in Lobethal, this will be an outdoor event with braziers and gas heaters for warmth. We recommend dressing for the conditions and bringing a warm jacket. If the weather is wet, this will be an indoor event held in our Barn.

Tickets; $38 per adult; $25 per child (aged 14 and younger)

Tickets are general entry and seating is NOT allocated.

The event starts at 11am. Event concludes at 4:30pm.

Ticket price includes:

Adults – event entry, includes a main porchetta dish OR vegetarian/vegan alternative main dish with a glass of Market Series wine or a beer/cider.

Child – event entry, 1 kids meal pack – chicken tenders and chips or porchetta and potatoes, a drink and a gelati.

This annual dinner event features 10 consecutive vintages of our premium S&G Pinot Noir, specially curated for this evening. A highlight on the Winter Reds and Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard calendar this exclusive evening promises an indulgent experience. Guests will enjoy a meticulously crafted five-course feast, perfectly paired with our S&G range of Pinot Noir. The dinner will be held by fire and candlelight, creating an intimate and enchanting atmosphere that celebrates the holy grail of our vineyard. Each course will be designed to complement the unique characteristics of the wines, offering a dining experience that delights the senses and showcases the exceptional quality of the Adelaide Hills terroir. The event will be hosted by Owner and Vigneron Garry Sweeney and a special guest. Together, they will guide you through the nuances of each vintage, sharing their passion and insights into the art of creating the perfect Pinot. Join us at Sidewood Estate for a cosy winter escape in the heart of the Adelaide Hills, where fire, wine, food and music come together in a vibrant festival atmosphere. Set in our gardens with plenty of cover, you’ll be welcomed by open fires, glowing lights and the aroma of woodfired winter fare. Indulge in comforting dishes including charcoal roasted porchetta, Pinot-braised lamb cob loaves, woodfired pizzas and seasonal vegan options such as roasted pumpkin casserole. Our cellar door will be open as usual for tastings and Sidewood wines, alongside craft beer and a rotating selection of local spirits at the bar. As the afternoon unfolds, a live DJ will set the tone, building from relaxed winter lounging to a lively, open dancefloor. With open fires, gas heaters and cosy blankets throughout, it’s the perfect setting to sip, savour and celebrate Winter Reds with friends.
