In 20 minutes you can drive from downtown central to the heart of one of Australia’s most beautiful wine regions – where you can step from a restaurant deck to a vineyard row; walk out of deep bush into a pristine, glass-walled winery; wander from perfumed orchards to rustic pubs; and amble from breathtaking mountain tops to cooling streams.

ANZAC DAY PICNIC & TWO-UP! WED 25 APRIL 2012 12-4pm
Pack a picnic to celebrate Anzac Day under our towering candlebark gums. Bring along your favourite Aussie Poem to share. Tap your toes to a selection of Australian Bush Band Music. Try your hand at a game or two of two-up, bush bocce or horse shoe throwing. Check out the art exhibition in the Rubida Room. Don’t forget to wear your akubra and RMs!
