Eight winemakers. One night. Countless glasses of world-class Adelaide Hills chardonnay. Join an evening of fun and fervour at Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard celebrating chardonnay – the Adelaide Hills’ most loved variety.

Guests will indulge in a four-course degustation crafted by winery restaurant head chef John Simpson-Clements to showcase seasonal South Australian produce. Each course will be matched with two chardonnays from some of the region’s finest producers, including stars in Lenswood, the Piccadilly Valley and beyond.

Producers include: Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard Ashton Hills Gentle Folk Koerner Murdoch Hill Shaw + Smith Sidewood Estate Vella

But here’s the twist: no one knows which wine is which. Not even the winemakers. They’ll be there to share their stories and insights, while you and your fellow tasters try to guess what’s in each glass.

Come and join us and discover the remarkable story of Marjorie, whose spontaneous wartime wedding was brought to life by community spirit and marked by a handmade ring crafted from the body of a crashed aircraft bomber.

Guests will enjoy a glass of our Marjorie Sparkling and a selection of grazing platters while creating their own piece of charm jewellery with local makers Fencesitter, inspired by the handcrafted ring that symbolised Marjorie’s love story. Just as Marjorie’s wedding came together through creativity and community, guests will spend the afternoon sharing wine, good conversation, crafting their own keepsake to take home.
