Nestled amidst in the beauty of eucalyptus and landscaped gardens, the Sidewood Restaurant & Cellar Door is a short 25-minute drive from the CBD. Recently honoured with the Innovative Wine Tourism Award by Great Wine Capitals, the cellar door welcomes both wine connoisseurs and newcomers. From our Introduction to Wine Tasting masterclass for beginner or a tasting with our knowledgeable staff, we have something for everyone. For something unique and fun, the art of Sabrage masterclass is always education and memorable, but guests can also simply sit back and enjoy platter of local cheeses with a tasting flight.

The venue itself is a masterpiece adorned with an array of fine Australian art, including works by renowned artists like Bowen, Olsen and Blackman. As the recipient of the Best Wine Tourism Restaurant Award in 2023, our restaurant offers an exquisite and diverse seasonal menu, featuring locally sourced sustainable ingredients. Step onto the expansive hardwood deck and choose from various dining experiences, whether it's lounging by the stone fireplace during Winter, or out on the deck overlooking our pétanque and lawn bowls courts. Families are welcome and our kids' nature playground will keep the young ones entertained.

    Announcing a very special celebration at Sidewood Estate during the Winter Reds Festival on Sunday 28th of July. Indulge in the ultimate long lunch. You will enjoy Sidewood’s warm hospitality and a decadent eight dish feed me menu of shared plates curated by celebrated Sidewood chef, Jamie Carter. Jamie has put a fire twist on the newly released and super delicious winter menu, with produce proudly sourced within 3km of Sidewood’s award winning cellar door in the Adelaide Hills. Food will be matched with a generous pour of Sidewood’s premium rose sparkling & red wines, with guests finishing off with our 22 year old Tawny and Sparkling Shiraz. Enjoy entertainment all afternoon, surrounded by heaters and fire with bespoke theming to make it an unforgettable experience. Book now, as tickets are limited.
